EcoMed 21 is a French non-profit organisation which aims at promoting the sustainable development in the Mediterranean area, for instance, through the exchange of competencies between environmental players of both Mediterranean shores.

• Bring the various stakeholders together, to facilitate implementation of shared solutions,
• Promote exchanges and collaboration between organisations and experts from both sides of the Mediterranean,
• Promote the circulation of information concerning issues related to sustainable development,
• Warn / educate both the general public and decision-makers about the major sustainable development challenges in the Mediterranean Basin,
• Identify players and experts concerned with Mediterranean sustainable development.
